Graduated from the University of Bath in 1994 with a BEng Honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering. From 1995 to 2000 worked as a Senior Test and Development Engineer at TWR Engineering specialising in vehicle aerodynamics. From 2000 to 2010 was an aerodynamics consultant, and subsequently team leader at MIRA. Had technical and project management responsibility for all aerodynamics projects that utilised the Full-Scale Wind Tunnel and Computational Fluid Dynamics. From 2011 to 2016 was Head of Aerodynamics at the Auto Research Center in Indianapolis, USA. Technical responsibility for large, multi-million dollar, aerodynamics consultancy projects as well as for aerodynamics research using ARC’s scale model moving ground wind tunnel. Instrumental in the development of a new, open source, CFD tool called Elements, as well as the joint venture with a software company that led to its development. From 2016 to 2018 was Senior Manager of Aerodynamics & CFD at Faraday Future, an electric car manufacturer. Was responsible for building the aerodynamics team, methods development for CFD and wind tunnel, as well as development of multiple low drag electric vehicles. From July 2018 to December 2020 was Head of Aerodynamics at Mahindra Automotive North America. Responsible for building the aerodynamics & CFD capability of both the local team as well as for Mahindra globally.
